Conversion of former workhouse to residential accommodation.

The original workhouse building completed in 1837 is a two-storey building laid out in a cruciform plan with 3 storey elements at the centre and at the ends of each wing. Originally the wings housed large open dormitories with the communal & staff facilities in the three storey sections
